Desert Ridge
Young children and caregivers explore music from MIM’s Africa and Middle East and North Africa galleries through singing, dancing, movement, and instrument play. The activities combine active music making with development of early motor, language, musical, and social skills.
Teacher Nichol Elgin leads 30-minute groups for babies through 18 months at 9:30 a.m., ages 1–3 at 10:15 a.m., and ages 2½–5 at 11:00 a.m. The class is barefoot; socks are welcome, with cubbies available for shoes and belongings.
