Desert Ridge
This caregiver-and-child class uses singing, dancing, movement, and basic instruments to explore music represented in MIM’s Africa and Middle East and North Africa galleries. The activities encourage children to make music while developing early motor, language, social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
Sessions run 9:30–10:00 a.m. for babies through 18 months, 10:15–10:45 a.m. for ages 1–3, and 11:00–11:30 a.m. for ages 2½–5. Classes are barefoot; socks are welcome, and cubbies are provided for shoes and personal belongings.
