Desert Ridge
This young acoustic quartet mixes bluegrass, jazz, original music, and the style known as “dawg music.” Brothers Miles and Teo Quale perform with bassist Andrew Osborn and guitarist Ian Ly, combining fiddle, multiple instruments, flatpicked guitar, and ensemble playing.
The group received the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Momentum Band of the Year award, performed during David Grisman’s Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame induction, and later made its Grand Ole Opry debut. Theater doors generally open 30 minutes before performances; concerts usually run 75–90 minutes, though MIM had not published a specific end time.
