Families can explore how electricity, technology, and creative performance come together to make music. Drop-in activities run throughout the museum day.
Sunday highlights
- Make a cardboard sine-wave generator craft and use the photo booth from 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
- See an Arizona Science Center electricity-and-sound demonstration at 11:00 a.m., featuring a Van de Graaff generator and miniature Tesla coil.
- Attend talks on electronic-music history at 11:30 a.m. and MIM’s synthesizers and electric instruments at 12:30 p.m.
- Dance to DJ Casey Zanni at 1:00 p.m., hear an electroacoustic performance at 1:30 p.m., build a working digital piano at 2:00 p.m., and hear electronic jazz at 3:15 p.m.
