Sea-ing Green explores the Delaware River as both an ecosystem and an essential Philadelphia resource. Campers will learn about the river’s animals, plants, microorganisms, drinking-water role, and economic importance while considering how people can care for the watershed.

Included during the week

  • A campers-only guided experience aboard Olympia and Becuna
  • Scheduled on-water activities, weather permitting
  • Collections previews and a visit to the J. Welles Henderson Research Center
  • A tour of the Seaport Boatshop
  • Camper swag

The program’s capacity is 20 campers, and the registration page currently marks this week sold out. Optional aftercare would run from 3–5:30 p.m. each weekday. The published signup deadline is July 28, 2026.
