Franklin Square's nighttime festival features illuminated Chinese lantern installations. The playground remains free and accessible from 7th Street, while entry to the lantern area after 6 p.m. requires a ticket and does not permit re-entry. Children 13 and younger must stay with an adult.
Advance tickets are recommended. Children two and younger enter free; ages 3–12 cost $16. Adult admission is $28 Monday–Thursday and $32 Friday–Sunday, with separate senior and military rates. Online fees and optional carousel or mini-golf tickets cost extra.
