This family-friendly live STEM program turns large-scale experiments into high-energy science entertainment. Expert performers and participating partners conduct the demonstrations safely while showing audiences what happens when familiar scientific ideas are pushed to dramatic extremes.
Demonstrations
- An ultra-cold liquid-nitrogen blast involving 500 balls
- A multi-balloon explosion powered by hydrogen
- Periodic Chef, a series of short, cooking-show-inspired presentations that combine everyday ingredients with surprising scientific elements
Families can also work with electricians from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers to complete a circuit and learn how electricity moves through it.
