Cobbs Creek Community Workday

Families and neighbors can help care for Cobbs Creek Park by removing invasive plants, collecting litter and debris, and supporting ongoing stewardship projects. No previous experience is necessary, and the organizers provide tools, work gloves, supplies, and materials.

Check-in begins at 9 a.m., followed by a project and tool-safety briefing at 9:10 and work beginning around 9:20. The group wraps up at 11:45 before a closing thank-you and group photo at noon.

Wear clothes that can get dirty, preferably long sleeves and long pants that cover the ankles. Sturdy closed-toe shoes are required. Bring a reusable water bottle; refill water and snacks will be available, along with sunscreen, bug spray, sanitizer, and wipes. Free park parking is available, and severe weather will cancel the workday with notice sent to registrants.
