Calavera Creations: Workshop with Ivette Chaires

Create a three-dimensional papier-mâché skull inspired by Ivette Chaires’s Living Through Death exhibition and the decorative calaveras associated with Día de los Muertos. Participants use vivid colors and patterns while considering themes of remembrance, celebration, and cultural tradition.

No painting experience is required, and all materials are supplied. The workshop is conducted in both English and Spanish. Because the organizer gives no child age guidance, it is best treated as an adult-accompanied activity for older school-age children.
