Into the Woods, starring Jodi Benson

Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Tony Award-winning musical combines the stories of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel. Their wishes and adventures intersect in a layered tale about choices, consequences and what happens beyond “happily ever after.” Because the second half explores darker fairy-tale themes, this production is best suited to older elementary and middle-school children.

Disney Legend and Tony Award nominee Jodi Benson—known as the voice of Ariel in The Little Mermaid—stars alongside Orlando performers. The production is created by Dr. Phillips Center with a local cast and creative team.
