The Heatwave offers a half marathon, relay, 10K, 5K, one-mile event and Kids Dash at Blue Jacket Park. The City describes it as a summer challenge for the whole family, with free ice cream waiting at the finish.
Youth may register for the Kids Dash or longer distances with a parent or guardian. The registration system offers reduced 5K and 10K pricing for ages 1–12. Blue Jacket Park has parking, restrooms, paved paths, picnic areas and playgrounds for ages 2–12.
