Lake Formosa
This family-friendly run and walk follows a USATF-certified 3.1-mile course from Orlando Cultural Park, past two lakes and through Mills 50, finishing on the Orlando Urban Trail. The event benefits the Track Shack Youth Foundation and Orlando Science Center.
Schedule and family activities

- Awards: 8:30 a.m.
- Free AdventHealth for Children Kids’ Run: 8:45 a.m.
The Kids’ Run is recommended for ages 12 and younger, with age-group distances from 100 yards to one mile. Registered children receive a finisher medal; shirts are first come, first served. The 5K is chip-timed and walker-friendly, with in-person and virtual options. Strollers are permitted under the organizer’s safety rules, while baby carriers, backpacks, wheeled recreation equipment, and animals are prohibited on the course.
Before race day
Bib and shirt pickup runs August 12–14, 10 a.m.–6 p.m., at Track Shack, 1104 N. Mills Ave.; bring a photo ID or check-in pass. Race-morning pickup begins at 6 a.m. Parking is at AdventHealth P2 McRae Garage, 2424 McRae Ave. The event is held rain or shine, though organizers may alter or cancel it for unsafe conditions.
