Writes of Passage

This monthly spoken-word open mic brings storytellers and poets from varied backgrounds together for an evening centered on personal expression. A featured poet anchors each month's program, with additional participants taking the stage to share their own work; the organizer had not named August's featured poet on the inspected page.

The program takes place near the Starbucks area inside Criss Library. Visitors may park in Lot F, immediately north of the Durham Science Center; UNO provides an official campus parking map. Because the organizer does not publish child-specific content guidance, this occurrence is best suited to older school-age children who enjoy live poetry and storytelling.
