This urban hike explores how Omaha’s landscape and Missouri River waterfront have changed. Stops include parks, gardens, former ferry sites and landmarks connected to the city’s “Gateway to the West” history, plus Polina Gardens.

The walk begins at the Durham and ends at Lewis & Clark Landing, so families parking at the museum should plan their return. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Museum admission is included; weather cancellations receive a full refund. Advance registration is encouraged.
