This 90-minute to two-hour downtown walk tells Omaha history through the workers who shaped the city, including jobbers, meatpackers, brewers and railroad employees. Stops cover former Jobbers Canyon factories, company headquarters, the former red-light district and places touched by the Great Migration, Gilded Age politics and technological change.

Museum admission is included. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Weather cancellations receive a full refund. Advance registration is encouraged.
