Opera Omaha opens its season with a free outdoor concert of familiar favorites and newer selections performed by world-class singers. The park opens at 5:30 p.m. for an interactive Kids Zone, lawn games and performances by community organizations; the main concert begins at 7 p.m.
Bring lawn chairs, blankets and refreshments for seating on the grass. No ticket or reservation is required. The announced rain date is August 30.
