Mainstage Youth Musical: SpongeBob

A cast of young performers ages 9–13 brings SpongeBob and his friends to the Rose’s 863-seat mainstage for an adventure under the sea. The show is the culmination of a three-week production camp where students learn audition skills, rehearsal practices, and performance etiquette before mounting a complete musical with costumes, scenery, lighting, and other production elements.

The lobby opens 45 minutes before the performance, with auditorium seating beginning about 30 minutes before showtime. Families can park for $2 in the garage at 1910 Harney St.; nearby meters remain active until 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

The theater lends booster seats and sensory kits with headphones and fidgets on a first-come basis. A sound-isolated Restless Room with a live mainstage video feed is available for children who need space to move, talk, or take a break.
