Tierras Libres: Community Flag-Making Workshop

Artist Miguel Braceli leads a community workshop in which participants create flags from locally grown flowers and plants. The project considers the communities formed during the 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence and transforms familiar national symbols through a social, environmental and educational approach to land.

Families may attend this workshop independently or return for the evening performance and reception. Local flowers are supplied by Ralph’s Ranch.
