Route
- Start at Soissons Landing after arriving by ferry from Manhattan.
- Join the waterfront road and path system and follow the island edge around the northern historic district.
- Continue around the western and southern shoreline, staying on the perimeter rather than climbing the Hills.
- Follow the eastern waterfront north to complete the circuit at Soissons Landing.
Good to know
The approximately 2.2-mile perimeter excludes optional climbs into the Hills. Reaching the start requires a ferry, and ferry schedules, island hours, construction, events, and waterfront closures must be checked before departure.
