Fort Tryon Park combines the Heather Garden, lawns, wooded paths, playground space, Hudson and Palisades overlooks, and The Met Cloisters on a high ridge in northern Manhattan.
The dramatic terrain also brings steep grades and stairs on some approaches. The Cloisters operates separately, and a garden or museum visit should be checked against current hours and access conditions.
