True Stories, Wild Things: A Celebration of National Moth Week

Begin in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life with a panel of Museum scientists working in entomology, urban ecology, and conservation. The discussion examines what declining insect populations reveal about urban ecosystems and why New York City’s nonhuman residents matter.

After the conversation, participants head outside to the Museum steps for a National Moth Week observation session. Museum scientists will help visitors look closely at moths attracted from Central Park and the surrounding area after dusk.
