The Ocean Etched in the Forest

Pulitzer Prize-winning composer and performer Du Yun presents a music-theater work exploring the culture and musical heritage of China's Indigenous Jino people. Developed with theater artist Julian Crouch and Jino collaborators from Yunnan—including cultural inheritor He Guiying—the production brings traditional knowledge into a contemporary staged setting.
