Chinese Arts Week continues with a movement lesson and performance connecting traditional Chinese dance with contemporary music. Chinatown Records founder Margaret Yuen begins by teaching all ages a mixture of traditional and modern movement using silks. The Red Silk Dancers then perform folk, classical, and newly interpreted choreography to selections by Chinatown Records founder yiuyiu 瑤瑤.

Admission and accessibility

  • The one-hour program is free and General Admission. Fast Track reservations are scheduled to open at noon on the Monday before the event, although admission is not guaranteed.
  • The Atrium has accessible seating and restrooms. Noise-reducing headphones, earplugs, fidgets, and FM assistive-listening devices are available.
