Spend the night exploring the Museum after closing, then sleep on an assigned cot beneath the Blue Whale or among other exhibits. Families can join guided flashlight tours of the dinosaur halls, explore first- and second-floor galleries independently, visit live insects and animal dioramas, and take part in trivia, scavenger hunts, group games, karaoke, presentations, and a bedtime story.
Overnight schedule
- Check-in begins at 6 pm; the mandatory briefing starts at 6:45 pm, when entry closes.
- Activities run into the evening, followed by the final story at 11:45 pm and lights out at midnight.
- Wake-up is at 7 am, with breakfast and morning activities before the 8:30 am conclusion.
Tickets include a light evening snack, continental breakfast, a keepsake, and a voucher for a future Museum visit. Optional meal boxes and sleepover bundles may be purchased in advance. Outside food and drinks and inflatable mattresses are not permitted.
Family logistics
Children must be ages 6–12. One adult age 21 or older is required for every child under 8; groups of ages 8–12 need at least one adult per five children. Pack a sleeping bag, pillow, warm sleepwear, toothbrush, and toothpaste. The program and activity areas are wheelchair accessible, and families may request a quieter, lower-light sleeping area for sensory needs. Required preregistration forms are due two weeks before the event. This occurrence is sold out.
