YALA Baby Artsplay!: Tiny Household Helpers

Young Audiences of Louisiana concludes its six-part Baby Artsplay series with a free, 30-minute workshop for young children and caregivers. Certified Louisiana Wolf Trap Teaching Artists use multisensory arts experiences to encourage natural curiosity and model early-learning activities families can repeat at home.

“Tiny Household Helpers” draws on several areas of childhood development. Caregivers learn how involving children in suitable everyday household tasks can become a playful learning opportunity. Families may attend this session even if they did not join earlier workshops, and digital Connection Cards provide ideas for continued practice.

Advance registration is required. The museum supplies baby-changing stations, accessible entrances, elevators and restrooms, and first-come sensory-friendly backpacks with noise-canceling headphones and fidgets.
