YALA Baby Artsplay!: Oh, What a Feeling!

Young Audiences of Louisiana leads this free, 30-minute early-learning workshop for young children and their caregivers. Certified Louisiana Wolf Trap Teaching Artists use multisensory arts activities to nurture children's curiosity and show adults how to continue learning through the arts at home.

“Oh, What a Feeling!” explores emotional development and ways caregivers can support a child's growing understanding of feelings. Families may attend this workshop alone or register separately for other sessions in the six-part series. Digital Connection Cards provide ideas for extending the activities at home.

Advance registration is required for each workshop. The museum has baby-changing stations, an accessible entrance and galleries, elevators, and first-come sensory-friendly backpacks with noise-canceling headphones and fidgets.
