YALA Baby Artsplay!: Hello, Friend…

Young Audiences of Louisiana leads this free, 30-minute early-learning workshop for young children and their caregivers. Certified Louisiana Wolf Trap Teaching Artists create a multisensory arts experience while showing adults how creative play can support development at home.

“Hello, Friend…” focuses on social skills and the importance of relationships in healthy childhood development. Activities help caregivers nurture a young child's natural desire for connection. Families may attend one workshop or register separately for multiple dates in the six-part series, and downloadable Connection Cards offer ways to continue afterward.

Advance registration is required for each workshop. The museum provides baby-changing stations, wheelchair-accessible facilities and elevators, plus first-come sensory-friendly backpacks with noise-canceling headphones and fidgets.
