Studio KIDS!: Keep it Kinetic

Young artists ages 6–12 will explore kinetic sculpture through works by Alexander Calder and Kenneth Snelson in the museum and Besthoff Sculpture Garden. Guided by teaching artist Krystyna, participants will use ideas about motion and balance to build mobiles and other kinetic sculptures celebrating summer adventures.

Advance registration is required and includes all art-making materials. Capacity is limited to 12 participants, and registration closes at noon on the day before the workshop. Cancellations made after noon on the preceding Thursday are not eligible for a refund.

Registered participants can receive 10% off eligible museum-shop purchases on the workshop date by showing proof of attendance; marked-down and consignment merchandise is excluded.
