The summer series closes with a reading of Jack and the Bean Stalk by Phidal Publishing at Storyland Castle. A City Park Conservancy reader leads the story, followed by an activity such as crafting, freeze dancing, a scavenger hunt, or another child-friendly game.
Storytime is included with admission to Storyland’s shaded outdoor playground, where families can explore 18 large-scale scenes and sculptures drawn from fairy tales, nursery rhymes, and folktales. Restrooms and food and drink are available on site.
