Little Learners: Keep it Kinetic

Young artists ages 4–5 and their caregivers will investigate Alexander Calder’s hanging mobiles, paying attention to movement, balance, and shadow. With teaching artist Krystyna, each child will then create a kinetic sculpture inspired by what they observed.

Advance registration includes one child, one caregiver, and all art materials. Capacity is limited to 10 children, and registration closes at noon on the day before the workshop. Cancellations made after noon on the preceding Thursday are not eligible for a refund.

Registered participants can receive 10% off eligible museum-shop purchases on the workshop date by showing proof of attendance; marked-down and consignment merchandise is excluded.
