This Getting to Know Me workshop uses artful play to encourage early language development. Children practice the foundations of communication while caregivers learn creative ways to nurture language skills and an appreciation for the arts.
The 30-minute caregiver-and-child session is part of a free six-workshop series led by certified Louisiana Wolf Trap Teaching Artists. Activities are multisensory and designed to give adults practical arts-based techniques they can continue at home. Separate registration is required for each workshop, and families can use the organizer's digital Connection Cards afterward for additional at-home ideas.
