Hosts Jason Eskridge and Chuck Beard bring Nashville artists from different disciplines together for performances, collaborations, and conversation in a relaxed “mixtape” format. The series connects the city’s music, literary, and performing-arts communities with artwork on view at the museum.
This edition accompanies An Indigenous Present and features IndigeNash members Trenton Wheeler and Jennifer Gougé. Wheeler is a musician, producer, Northern Plains grass dancer, and cofounder of IndigeNash; Gougé is an Anishinaabe and Taíno transmedia artist working across photography, illustration, installation, beadwork, and fiction.
