Summer Splash presented by ICEE®

Families can cool off on Festival Field with a slip-and-slide, animal-themed sprinklers, a bubble zone, and splash pools for little children. This week also features a chance to dunk a zookeeper in support of conservation. The local American Association of Zoo Keepers chapter will sell animal-created artwork, and families can visit the veterinary center lobby to learn about the Florida Reef Project.

Before you go

• Activities are included with Zoo admission or membership.
• Everyone under 18 must remain with a parent or guardian; there is no lifeguard.
• Shirts, bottoms, and shoes are required, though swimsuits may be worn underneath.
• Water shoes are recommended because Festival Field may get muddy.
• Sun hats, sunscreen, bug spray, and refillable water bottles are useful additions.
