Family Program: Clogging

Grand Ole Opry Square Dancers instructor Clyde “Bubba” Richardson leads an easy, participatory introduction to clogging. Families will learn how European, African, and Native American traditions blended in the southern Appalachian Mountains to form this distinctive dance style, then try the steps themselves. No previous dance experience is needed.

The all-ages workshop is included with museum admission and free for members. Eligible local children receive free admission with proof of residency, and up to two accompanying adults receive 25% off.
