Andean Bear Day

Families can celebrate Andean bears near their Expedition Peru habitat through hands-on games, crafts, learning stations, and conservation activities designed for all ages. Completing activities may earn themed giveaways, and guests can enter drawings for prize baskets inspired by the Zoo’s resident bears.

The event also includes a themed photo booth and a table hosted by the American Association of Zoo Keepers. Purchases there benefit the Spectacled Bear Conservation Society. The program concludes with a special bear-wall celebration at 2 p.m.

Participation is included with Zoo admission or membership.
