Nashville Shakespeare Festival stages Shakespeare’s playful comedy of fairies, runaway lovers, mistaken affections, and amateur actors at the historic Centennial Park Bandshell. The production is designed to delight audiences of all ages.

Before the show

  • Gates open at 5:15 p.m.
  • A Jackson Insight lecture begins at 5:15 p.m.
  • The preshow concert starts at 6 p.m.
  • The play begins at 7 p.m.

Food trucks are expected each evening. The performance is pay-what-you-will, with a $20-per-person suggested donation. The Bandshell is on the park’s 25th Avenue side near the walking path; families may bring suitable outdoor seating.
