Teaching artist Sophia Weisensel leads a drawing workshop inspired by the museum’s Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes photography exhibition. Participants will visit several galleries, spending roughly 30 minutes in each while drawing a different part of the figure and ultimately combining the pieces into one composition.

The activity borrows from the Surrealist game Exquisite Corpse. Participants may pass drawings back and forth with a partner to build collaborative work or work independently; pairs and solo registrants are both welcome. The museum describes the class as suitable for novices and experienced artmakers, with curiosity and an open mind as the only prerequisites.

Registration is required, with tickets scheduled to become available July 22. A limited number of scholarships are available by contacting the museum.
