Saturday Sounds w/ Charmin Michelle

Jazz singer Charmin Michelle brings an intimate, conversational approach to classic melodies, combining swing, restraint, and a strong sense of groove. Her interpretations evoke legendary jazz vocalists while retaining her own musical identity.

Born in Birmingham and raised in Minnesota, Michelle has toured internationally since 1986. Her career includes European jazz-festival appearances with musicians such as Mulgrew Miller, Kirk Lightsey, Harry Allen, and Grant Stewart, as well as recording work in Spain with Allen, Stewart, Scott Hamilton, Peter Bernstein, Ignasi Terraza, and the Toni Sola Quartet.

Customers may request a pass from any market vendor for one complimentary hour in the parking ramp at 10th Avenue and East Lake Street. Metered surface and street parking are also available.
