This teen-edition musical reimagines the Greek myths of Orpheus and Eurydice alongside the story of Hades and Persephone. Drawn into the underground world of Hadestown, Eurydice leaves Orpheus to risk everything in an attempt to bring her home. The story centers on hope, love, and perseverance.
Anaïs Mitchell’s score blends folk, jazz, blues, and contemporary musical theatre. The production is directed by Alli St. John, with music direction by Justin Cook and choreography by Cleo DeOrio. The venue recommends the performance for ages 12 and older.
