Family Day: Express Yourself

Spend a free museum day experimenting with creative ways to express yourself. Activities are spread through the museum and Target Park, allowing families to choose their own mix of artmaking, stories, movement, performances, and gallery conversations.

Planned activities

• Make accessories with teaching artist Maya O’Reilly and create practical duct-tape art in the studios.
• Watch a puppet performance with Akiko Ostlund, then make a puppet of your own.
• Join a movement activity and story time with Children’s Theatre Company in Target Park.
• Talk with museum guides in the Expressionism galleries.
• Purchase a treat from the Pretty Great Cheesecake food truck.

Family Day is designed for families, children, and visitors of all generations. Admission and activities are free.
