Discovery Days

Students can investigate exploration, fashion, Minnesota history, modern life, art, and photography through third-floor learning stations and gallery activities. The museum’s interactive format encourages children to choose stations and engage through touch, sight, sound, and movement; teaching artists and studio assistants also lead artmaking.

Mia members and the public may drop in at any point during the three-hour program. School groups must reserve a Wednesday arrival at 10 or 11 a.m. through the museum’s school-group request form.
