Caregivers carry their babies through the Eyes as Big as Plates exhibition, encountering Riitta Ikonen and Karoline Hjorth’s whimsical portraits of people in natural landscapes. ASI educators use eye-level observation and developmentally appropriate prompts to encourage visual learning, curiosity, and caregiver-child connection.
The visit consists of a 30-minute guided tour and 15 minutes of sensory play in the Castle before public opening. Strollers remain behind during the tour. Admission also covers later exploration of the exhibition, Turnblad Mansion, Family Gallery, and fenced outdoor spaces. Advance registration is required.
