Spend an evening outside roasting marshmallows, playing games, socializing, and stargazing. Complimentary s’mores kits are limited to one per person while supplies last. No advance registration is required.
Free 20-minute indoor stargazing shows begin at 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, and 8:30 p.m. These presentations take place under the planetarium’s 30-foot dome and run rain or shine. Seats cannot be reserved in advance: check in at the hallway ticket table, which opens up to 30 minutes before each show, to claim a first-come, first-served place. Doors close five minutes after each presentation begins.
The dome shows include periods of complete darkness and are not recommended for children under 4. A wheelchair-accessible entrance follows the path between the Physics and EMS buildings off Cramer Street. Campus parking is paid; Cunningham Lot is immediately north of the Physics Building, and nearby street parking may be available. The Green Line and Route 66 stop near the building, with additional campus service on the Red Line, Gold Line, and Route 30.
