Beginning paddlers learn essential safety and basic kayak movements during a guided trip around the Washington Park Lagoon's islands. Paddle games and small-group coaching help participants establish skills they can later use on larger bodies of water.
Kayaks and life jackets are supplied. The program is suitable for ages 12 and older.
