Hispanic Heritage Celebration

Inspired by the Latin American tradition of El Día de los Niños, this all-ages celebration centers children, family and the cultural traditions that shape young people’s identities. The program highlights childhood, education and community well-being through shared activities, food and live performance.

Music and dance include samba, calypso, soca, cumbia and salsa, with appearances by Salsabrositas, Los Moitoteros and Greenfield Bilingual School. Food offerings are expected to include empanadas, tamales, churros and chicha, alongside adult beverages. Children and families are invited to wear bright, playful clothing, favorite-character outfits or traditional cultural attire.
