A La Carte at the Zoo

The Zoo’s four-day food-and-music festival combines more than 30 Milwaukee restaurants with animal enrichment, giveaways, photo opportunities and live entertainment across six stages. Saturday begins with family and youth hip-hop from Kid Boogie Down and builds toward a 7 p.m. performance by Grammy-winning New Orleans group Tank and the Bangas.

• Flamingo Stage: DJ Doc B at 11:15 a.m.; Cosmic Lovechild at 2:45 p.m.; Joe Jordan at 4:45 p.m.; Another One at 6:45 p.m.
• Zoofari Stage: Muv Gruv at noon; Shuga Blu at 2 p.m.; Tony Holiday at 4 p.m.; Wave Chapelle & NilexNile at 6 p.m.
• Lakeview Stage: Patrick Van Bibber at 1 p.m.; Rojo of Mambo Surfers at 3 p.m.; Evan Christian at 5 p.m.
• Woody Stage: Mueller & Hill at 11:15 a.m.; Kevin Kennedy at 3:15 p.m.; Mosh Wah Dance Party at 6:15 p.m.
• Wine Tent: Cameron Webb at 11:30 a.m.; Marcya Daneille at 2:30 p.m.; Liv Held at 4:30 p.m.; Kaprice Maxwell at 6:30 p.m.

Music is included with Zoo admission; parking, food, rides and attractions cost extra. Food vendors accept credit and debit cards rather than cash, although cash can be converted to a prepaid card at the Zoo Administration office. Gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian choices will be available. The Aviary closes at 3:30 p.m.; other animal buildings close one hour before the festival ends.
