This inclusive museum morning is intended for families of neurodivergent children, teenagers, and young adults, including visitors who are autistic or have sensory-processing or cognitive disabilities. Families can explore the exhibitions at their own pace, spend time in a sensory-inclusive room, and play in an interactive building-block area.

Admission is free, but registration is required and capacity is limited on a first-come basis. Bring the electronic ticket for check-in. Families who register and later cannot attend are asked to release their space; registration assistance is available by phone or email through the museum’s accessibility team.

Accessibility and arrival

The museum’s galleries are wheelchair accessible, service animals are welcome under ADA guidelines, and a limited number of wheelchairs may be borrowed on a first-come basis. Accessible-format materials, sign-language interpreters, and other accommodations may be requested at least two weeks ahead.

Government Center Station is directly across from the museum. Parking is available at the Miami-Dade Cultural Center Garage at 50 NW 2nd Avenue, although special-event parking validation is not guaranteed.
