PAMM Film Focus: On the Line

This program pairs a screening of the 2025 documentary On the Line with a post-film conversation featuring director Francesco Saviano. Before the screening, visitors can tour Get in the Game: Sports, Art, Culture and explore how sport and art intersect.

Filmed across ten years, the documentary follows professional fighters Will “Power” Rosinsky, Danny “The Miracle Man” Jacobs, and Patrick “All” Day from their amateur promise through demanding professional careers. Rather than concentrating on boxing’s glamour and elite purses, it examines the physical and personal cost of pursuing a championship and considers human ambition and limits. Parents should note the film’s serious treatment of professional boxing when deciding whether it suits their child. An official trailer is available for previewing the tone.

Saviano has worked in film for 15 years as an actor, writer, director, producer, and cinematographer. His projects have screened at festivals including Tribeca, Vancouver International Film Festival, and the New York Television Festival.
