Mini-Me Science: Into the Wild – Florida Coastlines

Early learners and their adults will investigate a Florida coastal ecosystem through hands-on activities, a nature walk, storytelling and mindfulness. Families will learn about local plants and animals, explore why coastal conservation matters and may spot a sea-turtle nest during nesting season with the participating conservation team.

The approximately 2.5-hour outdoor session includes activities presented with the museum’s environmental-volunteer program and MORAES of South Florida. Snacks and water are provided, and registered families receive additional instructions before the program.

The core age range is three through six. Older siblings may join with an additional sibling registration, and every child must be accompanied by an adult. Families should arrive about 15 minutes early. Sales are final, with no refunds, returns or exchanges.
