Sunset Skate brings outdoor skating, DJ music and dance instruction to the riverfront. This back-to-school edition is presented with Memphis-Shelby County Schools and includes school-supply giveaways while supplies last.
What to expect
- Free 30-minute skate rentals from Cordova Skating Center, available first come, first served
- DJ sets from Voice of MSCS 88.5 FM
- Skate-dance lessons with Step & Skate Movement
Protective equipment—including helmets, pads and wrist guards—is not supplied, so families should bring their own. The event depends on the weather.
